PURPOSE:To prevent a misdisplacement for selection of transmission signal due to the electrically induced noise, by providing an optical switch which switches an optical fiber to select a transmitting optical signal, and applying the wavelength multiplication to the transmitted optical signal, then transmitting a switching control signal to control the optical switch. CONSTITUTION:Electric signals 1 and 2 are converted into beams by electricity/light converters 3 and 4 and then connected to optical switches 7 and 8 via optical fibers 5 and 6. The output of the switch 8 is converted into electric signals via a fiber 9 and through an optical wavelength multiplexing filter 10, a fiber 11, an optical wavelength multiplexing filter 12, a switch 7, filters 15 and 17, etc. and then delivered. The control signal is generated from a control signal generator 22 for switches 7 and 8 and then converted into an optical signal by an electricity/light converter 23. This optical signal receives the wavelength multiplication with a signal passing through an optical fiber 16 through an optical wavelength multiplexing filter 17 and via an optical fiber 24 and is transmitted backward. Then the optical signal is branched to a fiber 26 through a control signal filter 15 and then branched by an optical branching device 27. One of these branched signals passes through a fiber 28 and is converted into an electric signal by a photoelectric converter 29 to control the switch 7. |
