PURPOSE:To enable the control of the use by a user and the other use with discrimination of the number of copying sheets by providing a counter incorporated in a copying machine and a freely attachable and detachable counter, and operating only the attachable and detachable counter, and operating only the attachable and detachable and built-in counters in the stage of attaching or detaching the attachable and detachable counter. CONSTITUTION:A body counter 50 is incorporated in a copying machine and a unit of the other counter 60 is made attachable and detachable to and from an interface 21. The counters 50, 60 are of the similar constitution provided with stepping mechanical counters 51, 61, and reed switches 52, 62 which detect the conduction of electricity to counter coils. While the counter 50 is fixed and connected to the in-port 70 and out-port 71 of the interface 21, the counter 60 is connected to the in-port 72 and out-port 73 of the interface 21 freely attachably and detachably. |
