Stacking shelf for elongated material, especially for rod-like steel parts and stacking shelf installation

The stacking shelf has a mount which is open at the top and consists of two supporting frames. Supporting parts are arranged on the latter in at least two levels located one above the other, with holders for the elongated material resting on the said supporting parts. The width of the said holders is m times smaller than the length of the supporting frames, so that each level has m spaces for holders arranged next to one another at right angles to and between the supporting frames. The supporting parts of the second, third etc. levels have rails, on which rest sliding parts with which the holders for the elongated material are provided. A drive is provided for displacing the holders for the elongated material in the direction of the rails and through a section which corresponds to the distance between two adjacent spaces. Of the possible number m of spaces in the second, third, etc. levels, a maximum of m-1 spaces are occupied by displaceable holders for the elongated material.
