NEW MATERIAL:A 1-aminocarbonylmethyl-substituted piperazine derivative shown by the formula I (R is 4-6C straight-chain or branched chain alkyl) and its acid addition salt. EXAMPLE:1-(Butylaminocarbonylmethyl)piperazine. USE:An intermediate for a drug having improved vasodilating action in the cerebral, peripheral, coronary, and blood vessels. PROCESS:An aminocarbonylmethyl halide shown by the formula II (X is halogen, especially Cl or Br) is reacted with piperazine shown by the formula III in the presence of a base as a deoxidizer, to give a compound shown by the formula I . This compound is useful as an intermediate for a novel substance shown by the formula IV (R1 is 2,3,4- or 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl) useful as the above-mentioned drug. |
