Method for facing surfaces and base having facing elements fixed thereon

A method for facing surfaces and a base on which facing elements are fixed are described. After applying an adhesive to the surface to be faced, the base with the facing elements is pressed into the adhesive. The base is a fabric with meshes. As a result of the pressing-in, the adhesive thus flows through the meshes and fills the interspaces between the individual facing elements, a jointing automatically resulting thereby.
