The invention relates to a device which permits local influencing or destruction of live cellular tissues, especially those of tumours, with the aim of a healing measure by electrolytical means. An electrical contact with the extracellular and intracellular substrates of the tumour as the principal electrolyte is made via a liquid auxiliary electrolyte in the separate chambers of the device which are provided with non-conducting cannulas, without exposing the healthy tissue to current. The electrodeposition of the decomposed toxic tumour substances takes place, according to the invention, in a manner innocuous for the patient at the electrodes of the separate chambers outside the body.
