PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device wherein irregular transportation and deterioration of a developer are prevented and in addition, a large capacity is achievable. SOLUTION: A take-in part 11 is provided and arranged so that its end part 22a at the opposite side of a restriction blade 13 is arranged upstream from a position directly above the developing roller 18 in the direction of rotation, and the restriction blade 13 is arranged downstream from a position directly above the developing roller 18 in the direction of rotation. Thus, a constant quantity of developer is fed to the restriction blade with an almost constant pressure, and irregular transportation and deterioration of the developer are prevented, and further, since a space is made above the developing roller 18, a stirring screw 12 at the upper stage can be enlarged in size more than a conventional one. Namely, a developing device 5C can increase the developing in the accommodation volume with the width dimensions in the axial and vertical directions kept compact. |
