The LED module (1) for emission of light with a respective wavelength, is combined with a number of other modules to obtain a required wavelength spectrum, by providing each module housing with complementary coupling elements (4,6) allowing adjacent module housings to be snap-fitted together, so that their relative movement is prevented. An Independent claim for a method of manufacture for an LED module is also included.
