PURPOSE:To form a channel selecting device not using an endless thread, by combining a rail lever provided with rack teeth of the same pitch in parallel and gears. CONSTITUTION:The channel selecting device has the rail lever 1 and a frame 2 movable along the rail lever. The rail lever 1 is provided with rack teeth 3, 4 having the same pitch in the lengthwise direction. Further, the frame 2 is provided with a gear wheel 10 rotated incorporatedly with a flywheel 9 so as to mesh with the rack teeth 4. A shaft 8 of the gear wheel 10 is provided with a small gear meshing with the rack teeth 3 and the small gear is linked with a rotation adjusting shaft of a variable capacitor 12 and provided with a dial 15. In selecting a channel, after a rough channel selection by moving the frame 2, the dial 15 is turned for the accurate channel selection. Thus, the channel selecting device not using an endless thread is formed. |
