PURPOSE:To improve both productivity and reliability, by reducing the number of turns at the rotor side of a rotary transformer and at the same time connecting plural windings in parallel to each other. CONSTITUTION:The number of turns is reduced at the rotor side of a rotary transformer 5 while the number of turns is set as conventional at the stator side. Then the number of turns of a video head 4 is reduced to secure the matching with the transformer 5. Plural copper wires are bundled and connected in parallel to each other to obtain a winding of a small number of turns. As a result, the conventional strength is secured for the winding and at the same time the conventional counter conditions are obtained between windings 18 and 19 of the stator side and the windings 24 and 25 of the rotor side. Thus a conventional coupling coefficient is obtained. This improves both productivity and reliability of a magnetic recording/reproducing device.
