PURPOSE:To perform the compensation of disk defects effectively, by providing a matrix circuit having an adder and reducer to make the output of a compensation circuit zero when a signal is zero, and outputting a distortion component out of the compensation circuit only when the signal exists. CONSTITUTION:An sum signal L+R and difference signal L-R are supplied to a matrix circuit 7, added and reduced by an adder 8 and reducer 9 of the circuit 7, and converted to a left side signal L and right side signal R. The converted left side signal L is supplied to a disk defects compensation circuit 5 to eliminate noise due to disk defects. The right side signal R is supplied to a disk defects compensation circuit 6 to eliminate noise due to disk defects. A signal waveforms (m) and (n) outputted by the circuit 7 are supplied to the circuits 5 and 6, and noise included in the difference signal L-R is made to be of the same amplitude and inverted phase to eliminate noise component. After that, the circuit 5 sends the distortion component and a left side signal waveform, and the circuit 6 outputs a right side signal waveform so that the distortion component becomes not sensible by ears, and the compensation of the disk defects is performed effectively. |
