PURPOSE:To prevent a crime by providing a scret holding mechanism which prevents other persons from knowing a key number inputted with keys when the number is inputted. CONSTITUTION:When a cash card 11 is inserted into a card insertion opening, a card sensor 10 detects the card insertion and reads the key number recorded on the card. A card detection signal is sent from the card sensor 10 to a control part 7 and the key number is stored in a register 16. The control part 7 reads a numeric key array table 13, which is displayed on a cathode-ray tube 3 as a numeric key array pattern through a display control part 18. A customer operates a number keyboard 2 over a look at the numeric key array pattern to input the customer's key number. The input key number is stored in a register 15 and the key number read out of the cash card is stored in the register 16. A comparator 17 collates the contents of both registers 15 and 16 with each other. |
