PURPOSE:To obtain reproduced pictures of high quality, by using the optical transmission to transfer signals between the rotor side and the stator side and at the same time incorporating a necessary amplifier at the rotor side. CONSTITUTION:The A of a rotary pickup 8 is attached to either one of the rotor side and the stator side, and the B is attached to the other side respectively. In a recording mode, a recording signal supplied through an input terminal 7 turns on and off an electro-optical transducer 8a at the stator side of the pickup 8 and is converted into the optical information to be received at a photoelectric transducer 8b at the rotor side. Then the optical information is converted again into electric signals and then recorded to a magnetic tape 12 via a switch 10 after amplification. The switch 10 is turned to the opposite side to turn on and off an electro-optical transducer 15a at the rotor side of a rotary pickup 15. Thus the signal is received by a photoelectric transducer 15b at the stator side and delivered to a terminal 16. In such a way, the crosstalk can be reduced down to a satisfactory level to improve the quality of reproduced pictures. |
