PURPOSE:To display the number of high-order overflowed digits without switching operation, by displaying one dot display part for every overflowed digit when an integer having more digits than the digits of a numeral display part is inputted, and displaying the number of overflowed digits as a decimal number. CONSTITUTION:Pulses corresponding to a number from a counting source 4 are counted by a counting IC3 and the number is displayed by a driving IC2 at the numeral display part 5 of a numeral display board 1 through light emission. The number is displayed by using displays parts 5a-5j and the excess digits are displayed by turning on dot display parts 6 which are provided for indicating only the presence of the digits by decimal numbers. Consequently, the digit overflow, is known by the displayed numeral of the dot display parts. When the numeral of overflowed digits is confirmed at need, the IC2 is switched by a display changeover switch 7 connected to the IC3 to display the numeral at the display part 5. |
