PURPOSE: A block gauge and device for accurately measuring a plane and a parallel surface is provided to measure a distance using an upper plate and a lower plate(82) in a projected figure of a block gauge and to test an accurate allowable error in an inserting and assembling portion using a block. CONSTITUTION: A plane plate(11) has an upper plate and a lower plate and is used for measuring a distance. The plane plate(11) is used for testing a plane because of performing an abrasion. A block(12) is an accurate measuring device having a measuring function similar to a conventional block gauge. The block(12) is inserted into 5/1000 mm and measures a groove portion. A thickness gauge(13) is inserted into 0.01 mm and measures an accurate allowable error of an assemble portion. A tree box(14) is a box for keeping the plane plate(11), the block(12) and the thickness gauge(13).
