摘要 In an auto-compression switching chamber having double nozzles and a contact system which bridges said nozzles intermittently, for both the permanent current and the arc current, it is intended to eliminate an interaction between the nozzle separation and the nozzle diameter which occurs when using conductive material/conductive material nozzles at high rated voltages. At the same time, the particularly effectively quenching system of the stationary symmetrical double nozzles in an optimum configuration remains ensured. For this purpose, a conductive material/insulating material double-nozzle arrangement (2, 21 and 3, 31) is introduced as a novel feature. The problem of arc commutation into the internal space of the insulating material nozzle body as well is solved by means of arc running-in gaps (34, 35, 36) in this body. As a result of their nozzle contour, the arc running-in gaps also contribute to centring of the switching-off arc in the nozzle axis. The movable arc contacts are formed such that the switching-off arc is advantageously drawn in the region of the running-in gaps. The double-nozzle arrangement according to the invention is thermodynamically and dielectrically decoupled and can be optimally dimensioned in processes which are largely independent of one another. <IMAGE>
