In an apparatus for transferring components, especially integrated chips (23), from a dispensing device (2) containing a multiplicity of these components (23) to a receiving device (16, 17, 18) receiving the respective components (23) only individually, in the region of the exit side of the dispensing device (2) there is an arrangement (24) for individual separation which transfers the successively supplied components (23) only one at a time, and/or in the region of the receiving device (16, 17, 18) there is a switch arrangement (10) which makes it possible to guide at a time only one component (23), supplied to it, to a selected point of fixed points of the receiving device. <IMAGE>
