PURPOSE:To perform quick stop operation of an engine, by providing a connection length selecting means, which can rapidly change the length of a connecting member in the direction of moving a throttle lever to a stopping side, to a connection part between the throttle lever and a control lever of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A throttle lever 2 and a control lever 3 are connected by connecting rods 5, 6 through a connection length selecting device 4. If the lever 3 is turned to a speed increase side (rightward), the lever 2 is turned to a speed increase side through the rods 5, 6. In emergency, if a knob 30 is pulled towards the front, a stop wire 27 in a tube 28 is moved in the direction of an arrow head E against a coil spring 29, and the free end part of a hook 13 integrally formed with an arm 15 is turned facing upward, then an engagement part 17 is disengaged from a protruding pin 16, while a turning lever 8 is turned to the right direction by a spring 12, and the lever 2 is turned to a stop position through the rod 5 to stop an engine. |
