PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous writing or reading and the damage of a disk, by plating with a magnetic material to a magnetic disk stored in a sealed case, and providing a deoxidizing agent in the hermetically sealed case or a breathing vent hole. CONSTITUTION:When a plated disk 1 is turned for writing or reading, the gas in a hermetically sealed case circulates in directions of arrows A, B, C, D and E. Meahwhile the dust is eliminated through a filter 5. At the same time, the increase of pressure due to a rise of the internal temperature is controlled through an air ventilating hole 6. When the revolution of the disk 1 stops after the writing or reading is through, the external air flows into the case owing to a reduction of pressure due to a fall of temperature within the case. In this case, the dust, the moisture and the oxygen are eliminated by means of a filter 7, a dehumidifying agent 12 and a deoxidizing agent 13 respectively. Then only an inactive gas flows into the case. Thus erroneous writing or reading and the damage of a disk are eliminated. |
