In improvements made to four-stroke internal-combustion engines of the diesel type, the air necessary for combustion is sucked in by each of the cylinders (2) and (3) during each crankshaft revolution (4) through one or more directional valves (40) putting the outside of the housing (1) in communication with its interior and the lower parts of the cylinders (2) and (3) and pistons (7) and (8), these valves (40) functioning in two stages opening and closing during each crankshaft revolution (4) at opposite points during the simultaneous ascent or descent of the pistons (7) and (8).
|
