A description is given of a technique whereby, when liquefied gases of multiple components, such as liquefied natural gases (LNG), liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) or the like, which are different in terms of composition, density or similar characteristics, are stored in the same storage tank, any stratification of the liquefied gases inside the storage tank is prevented. The introduction of the liquefied gas into the storage tank takes place in such a way that the gas introduced enters the storage tank in the form of a jet of liquefied gas which is launched from near the bottom of the tank, obliquely upwards, with an angle of elevation within a predetermined margin and which reaches or nears the free surface within the storage tank and in this way, as soon as the liquefied gas introduced enters the tank, the desired mixing of the liquefied gas introduced with the liquefied gas which already exists in the storage tank takes place.
|
