PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation and distortion of a pipe and the roughening of the inside surface by containing a viscous material in the pipe in synchronization with both stages for molding of the pipe and the introducing of a fiber and heating beforehand the viscous material and the optical fiber in the stage of inserting the same into the pipe. CONSTITUTION:The resin 23 existing in the material feed section 6 of an extruder 4 is fed into a resin flow passage 17, and is extruded through a resin flow gap 19 to a pipe 2. On the other hand, an optical fiber 1 from a feeder 7 advances into a nipple 12 while the fiber is preheated with a heater 9; at the same time, the fiber enters the inside of the pipe 2 right after the forming; further, the viscous material 3 in a storage tank 13 is flowed into the nipple 12 with a feed pump 14. The material 3 in this stage is preheated to a prescribed temp. or above with a heater 15 provided on the outside of a feed piping 16 and the material 3 heated in such a way is also admitted through the inside of the nipple 12 into the pipe 2. |
