PURPOSE:To feed the oil scattered into an axial hole to the needle bearing, by making a radial hole conducting to the outercircumference through the axial hole in the pinion shaft of a planetary gear carrier assembly. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of a carrier assembly 20, a portion of oil spray will enter through an axial hole 25a of a pinion shaft 25, then reach through a radial hole 25b to the outercircumference of the pinion shaft 25 by the centrifugal force thus to lubricate a needle bearing 26. Thereafter it will lubricate a thrust washer 27 and flow out of the carrier assembly 20. An eave section 25c for catching the oil may be provided on the pinion shaft 25. |
