PURPOSE:To prevent the suction of air into the operating oil chamber reliably, by positioning the operating oil chamber of a hydraulic servo actuator for an automatic speed change gear below the oil level in the speed change gear. CONSTITUTION:The drain oil level is formed at the level shown by A in the speed change gear case. The oil chambers 9, 10 of an automatic speed change gear servo actuator 4 are arranged at the rear of said level A, to prevent the intrusion of air through the oil path into the oil chamber during operation. The oil chamber 9 is equipped with a port 12 opening upward, and connected to an exchange valve 14 positioned above said port 12 thereby even when the air has intruded through the gap of the piston rod 15 into the chamber 9, the air is discharged easily through the port 12, oil path 12, 13 and exchange valve 14. |
