PURPOSE:To perform 100% inspection continuously by an unmanned method, by measuring the difference between the time period from the time when the end part of a plate material passes on a first position sensor to the time when it passes a second position sensor and the time period from the time the end part passes the first position sensor to the time when it passes a third position sensor, and computing an angle. CONSTITUTION:Pulses having a specified frequency are counted by two pulse counters from the time when a side (b) of a plate material 1A passes a first position sensor. The pulse numbers until the side passes second and third sensors 2 and 3 are made to be n1 and n2. An angle epsilon of the plate material is obtained by an expression in the Figure, where the distance between the position sensor 1 and the position sensor 2 is l1, the intersection of a line (c) which is perpendicular to a reference side (a) and a line which is in parallel with the reference line (a) is (p), the distance between the (p) and the position sensor 2 is l2, the distance between the (P) and the position sensor 3 is l3, and the frequency of the reference pulse SP is noHz. The pass or fail of a product is performed by computing (n1-n2)/n1, comparing the result with a specified value, and judging the result. |
