PURPOSE:To confirm in advance the shortage of fuel when a vehicle is run from the entrance interchange to the destination interchange of a highway by providing a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A residual fuel sensor 10 senses the amount of a residual fuel and an odometer 20 adds up distances of running, and they are inputted to a microcomputer 50. The rate of fuel consumption and distance from the entrance interchange to the destination interchange are calculated by operating the keyboard 40. Then a first lamp signal is generated, and a first voice instruction signal is issued if the running can be continued, and a second voice signal and a second lamp signal are issued if continued running is not feasible. Lamps 60 and 70 are lighted in response to the lamp signals, and a voice composition circuit 80 issues in response to voice composition signals for the possibility to continue running or necessity to refuel because of infeasibility of continued running. |
