PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a transceiver and to attain inexpensive manufacture, by making the frequency of an output of a local oscillator equal to that of a transmission wave and selecting the frequency of an intermediate frequency in a frequency difference between transmission and reception waves. CONSTITUTION:An output of a local oscillator 12a is set to a frequency equal to that of the transmission wave, an output of the local oscillator 12a is given to a mixer 3 at a receiver side, the frequency difference between the transmission and reception waves is extracted as the intermediate frequency signal, the output of the local oscillator 12a is given to a phase modulator 8a at a transmitter side directly for the purpose of phase modulation and the phase modulation wave is transmitted as the transmission wave, thereby eliminating a transmission mixer and an oscillator for transmission wave forming for the formation of the transmission waves, which are required for conventional devices and simplifying the constitution extremely. |
