The glazing panel for use in constructing curved roofing canopies comprises a prefabricated structure made up of curved support elements (1), the free ends of which rest on the periphery of the opening in the roof. All the stresses within the structure are taken by a series of bolts which engage into or through the elements (1), pass between the window panes (36,37) and through the finishing strips (47) positioned on top of the panel. Each window pane is surrounded by a peripheral seal, compressed by the elements or the finishing strips as the bolts (45) are tightened.
