PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic core which can be manufactured easily with high application efficiency of steel plate and high electrical characteristics by spirally winding a steel belt after punching a steel plate in the desired thickness into a steel belt and pressurizingly laminating the steel belt in the winding direction. CONSTITUTION:The waved part 2 which forms the circumferential part is formed uniformly and repeatedly per the length l corresponding to a single turn in the next process at the single side A of the steel belt 1 punched from a steel plate of the desired thickness. While with the other side B of the steel belt 1 faced inside, the steel belt is wound spirally by the spiral technique based on the continuous cold rolling process. The end part of spiral steel plate 4 forms an annular body of almost square shape, allowing the cut-away parts 3, 3 of the wound groove to be located opposingly. Then, after cutting the spiral steel plate 4 into the desired length, the steel plate is pressurizingly pressed from both ends of spiral part and is welded along the welding groove 5 formed by the welded recess part 5a formed at a part of the circumference while the spiral parts are closed in contact in the axial direction. Thereby a magnetic core 6 can be formed. The cut-away part 3 of wound groove forms a wound groove 7 of coil continuously in the axial direction. |
