PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excitation-type contact sensing probe whose recalibration after its replacement including a fine stylus is performed easily and quickly and which can eliminate the labor of the electrical connection change of an exciting element and a sensing element attached to the stylus while various conditions are being kept. SOLUTION: A stylus assembly 40 in which the stylus 2, the exciting element 4, the sensing element 6, a first-set secondary-side magnetic circuit 12 and a second-set primary-side magnetic circuit 21 are integrated so as to be built in and a stylus support 30 in which a first-set primary-side magnetic circuit 11 and a second-set secondary-side magnetic circuit 22 are integrated so as to be built in are constituted so as to be capable of being mutually packed.
