PURPOSE:To prevent seat heaters from being operated inadvertently by automatically judging conditions which cause no problem if seat heaters are operated and also automatically operating only the seat heaters occupied by personnel by means of various sensors. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 18 performs the air conditioning in a car room 7 through a driving unit 23 by use of a control signal Ac depending on the temperature inside and outside of the car room. Whether the outside temperature is higher than 10 deg.C, the water temperature is higher than 50 deg.C, and the battery voltage is lower than 10.5V, i.e., conditions under which seat heaters 8a-11a are not desired and not required to be operated are judged with signals of sensors 20, 21, 19 by the timer interrupt processing, and if the conditions are judged as necessary for the heater operation, the heater 8a of the driver seat 8 is first turned on through a switch 14, then the existence of personnel is detected by seat sensors 9b-11b, and only switches 15-17 for seats occupied by personnel are turned on to set respectively the heaters 9a-11a on. Each heater is controlled by thermostats 8c-11c. |
