PURPOSE:To improve reproducibility in the area of a low oxygen concentration with the stabilization of electromotive force when the sensor is immersed in a molten metal by filling the tip of a bag tube with a substance having a smaller oxygen partial pressure than that of a standard oxygen partial pressure material. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a bag tube 12 is filled with a buffer substance 6 having a smaller oxygen partial pressure than that of a standard oxygen partial pressure material so as not to affect the oxygen partial pressure thereof. The buffer substance 6 is filled to almost reach the vertical tube part from the tip radial section of the bag tube. When filling, a powder is put and pressed with a rod from above to avoid mixing with the standard oxygen partial pressure material when it is filled. |
