PURPOSE:To suppress variation of discharge characteristics by providing a heating and a cooling means for a photoreceptor, and performing fatigue recovery and excluding ozone produced by a corona discharger under control to a constant temperature range. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of a photosensitive drum 1 detected by a temperature sensor 11 drops below the lower limit of the specified temperature range, conduction of a resistance heating body 8 is on to supply a hot blast to the inner circumferential surface of the photosensitive drum 1 and when the temperature rises above the upper limit of said range, conduction of the resistance heating body 8 is off to supply low-temperature outside air, thus controlling the photosensitive drum to the specified temperature range with high precision. Ozone produced by the conducted corona discharger 13 is discharged from an opening 15 by the intervention of air flow circulating in a casing 13 and adsorbed by a filter 17, so that it never stays around a corona wire 13b. |
