A circuit arrangement is specified, with which it is possible to switch valves of heating plants on and off by remote control at optional times. For this purpose an expansion body (2) which can be acted on by an electrical heating element (3) is used. This heating element can be supplied with current via a first switch (6) under remote control. In addition, a thermostat is present, which regulates the room temperature and can likewise switch the heating element (3) on and off by means of a second switch (7). The circuit arrangement is housed in a device (1) which can be screwed onto a valve (10). <IMAGE>
