The fire extinguishing powder reservoir is designed for 10 to 30 bar pressure and is kept under constant pressure in its state of readiness. The parameters related to the powder volume, charging pressure and powder flow quantity are balanced in such a way that during the operation of the installation a complete emptying is achieved without recharging. The charging or ready state pressure is such that after operation a final or residual pressure of 25% of the loading pressure remains in the vessel.
