PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly of a heater and to improve a fin efficiency by fixing a corrugated plate between adjacent heater tubes. CONSTITUTION:A corrugated plate 12 is prepared by bending a belt-shaped plate in the shape of a letter S continuously and perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction thereof, and concave curved surfaces 12a engaging with the outer peripheral surface of arheater tube are formed in the crest part of the plate 12. The corrugated plate 12 thus prepared is fixed between adjacent heater tubes with the longitudinal direction thereof made parallel to the central axis 3b' of the heater tube, and with the aforesaid concave curved surfaces 12a made to engage with the outer peripheral surface 3b of the heater tube. The corrugated plate 12 is inserted between the parts 3b of the heater tubes and brazed in the state wherein it is retained elastically by these parts. Moreover, the plate 12 is fixed to the heater tubes along the direction of the flow of a combustion gas so as to improve a fin efficiency. |
