PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicles which is capable of displaying the celestial map intrinsically ought to be visible from the current position up to, for example, about the stars of the third to sixth magnitude. SOLUTION: The segment of a roof on the inner side of a roof panel 10 of a compartment is mounted with a display device 11 consisting of an organic electroluminescence element sheet 26 and the present position of the vehicle is detected by using a GPS positioning device 15 for detecting the position of the vehicle by the radio waves from a satellite 17.
