<p>PURPOSE:To make a titled connector strong against tension, by constituting an optical fiber cable and a plug of a fall-out stopping lance structure, and also coupling female and male connectors by a freely detainable and detachable elastic detaining piece and a detaining projection. CONSTITUTION:A female type connector 1 consists of a housing 3 which forms a cylindrical part 4 in front of a plate-like part, and a photo-electric converting element 5 placed in said housing. Also, a detaining projection 8 bulges in one part of the outside face of the cylindrical part 4. A male type connector 2 is constituted of a double cylindrical housing 9, an optical fiber cable 10 and a caulking ring 11 for fall-out-stopping and supporting the cable in a housing 9. Also, the center of an elastic arm 22 of the middle upper part of an outside cylindrical part 17 forms a groove, the end of the groove becomes a stopping side 23, and it is fitted to the detaining projection 8 of the female type connector housing 3. In this way, fitting of the female and male connectors becomes firm and can be made strong against tension.</p> |
