PURPOSE:To easily add a data image to original picture information, by directly exposing a data picture which has no mention on an original, to a photoreceptor in the course of a copying process. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular plate-like picture indicator 16 is installed to a part of a slit 8' of a slit member 8. As for the picture indicator, for instance, a transmission type liquid crystal indicator or a transmission type electrochromic indicator is used. Therefore, at the time of exposure of an original 1, when a character is formed on the picture indicator 16 only for a necessary exposure time by making for instance, a data on the original 1 synchronize with the time when a part whose display is desired is exposed, a data picture can be exposed by overlapping it on an original image on a photoreceptor 10. In this regard, in case when display of varying information is required, it is represented by a digital character, and when display of fixed information is required, and a distinct display is requested, they are represented by an analog character. In this way, a data can be added easily to original picture information. |
