It has a head (106) with inlet (108) and outlet (152) ports and a valve interposed between the housing and head to allow fluid flow in response to piston movement. The valve has a plate (54) with inlet (56,58) and outlet (72,74) openings for connecting the chambers with the ports. A reed (84) has a metal substrate having a gasket material (95) and containing multiple reeds (88,90,92,94). These cooperate with the plate and head for controlling fluid flow.</p> |
