<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-removing mattress cover which can be easily fitted on and cover a conventional hard cotton mattress, and by which slipping is not generated between the hard cotton mattress and a polyurethane foam layer. <P>SOLUTION: The soft urethane foam 7 is housed in the bottom part of a cover material 3 made of a liquid-impermeable sheet which is formed into a rectangular container shape. Then, on the opening end part 6 of the cover material 3, a strap body 5 for contracting the opening diameter is fitted for this pressure-removing mattress cover 1.
