PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced screen of high quality, by using a variable delaying device such as a CCD delay line, etc. to compensate both residual time axis error and dropout noises. CONSTITUTION:The composite color video signal delivered from a demodulator 3 is supplied directly to a CCD delaying device 6 as long as no dropout of signals is detected by a dropout detector 4. When a dropout of signal is detected, a switch 5 is changed over to the side of a contact (b) to supply a delayed signal to the device 6. A phase comparator 11 and an LPF12 detect an error signal showing a shift between the delay time of the device 6 and a horizontal scanning period, and feeds the error signal to an adder 13. A time axis error detecting circuit 8 detects an error signal showing the time axis variation component which is contained in a video signal. The error signals of the LPF12 and the circuit 8 and added together by the adder 13 to control a voltage control oscillator 7. The output clock signal of the oscillator 7 is fed to the device 6, and a delay decided with the clock frequency is applied to the demodulated video signal. |
