PURPOSE:To enable the reduction of a deviation error irrespective of the position of an weighed article on a scale by a constitution wherein each of the end parts of a plurality of belt-shaped beams whose central parts are fixed is connected monolithically to a load receiving board of the scale whereon the article is placed, while a strain gage is stuck on each beam. CONSTITUTION:When an article W to be weighed is placed in deviation on a scale 7, beams 3a and 3b are bent differently. However, a deviation error in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the length of a beam plate 3 can be eliminated by selecting properly the size and shape of a load receiving board 6, and the width of the plate 3, etc. As to a deviation error in the direction of the length of the plate 3, the reduction of a weighing error is enabled by the supporting structure formed by the board 6 and the plate 3 and having a nearly parallelogrammic side view, and by the fact that the sum of the output voltages of strain gages 4a and 4b stuck on the front and the back of each of the beams 3a and 3b is constant, etc. The voltages of the gages 4a and 4b change linearly in relation to a load. Therefore, the weight of the weighed article is transduced exactly into a voltage. This voltage is transmitted via a circuit and a weighed value is indicated by an indicating element. |
