PURPOSE:To perform excellent multiple transfer to a dielectric sheet without using any special device by reducing the surface electric resistance of the dielectric sheet on a carrier side for toner to less than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A transfer drum 33 has a screen 33a for supporting transfer paper, a cylinder 33b with a notch as a supporting member for supporting the screen 33a at its end part, and grippers 33c for gripping the front end of the transfer paper. Said screen 33a is formed by weaving fibers such as nylon and polyester or by punching and pressing a polyester sheet. The dielectric sheet is used for a copying machine and the surface electric resistance of this dielectric sheet is specified >=10<3>OMEGA to obtain a trichromatic multiple transfer picture which has high transfer efficiency and is free of picture disorder. |
