PURPOSE:To improve the drainage for soil and the traction of a caterpillar where a core metal is buried in an endless belt made of resilient material such as rubber while a lug is provided on the ground face of the belt. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of core metals 2 are buried longitudinally with predetermined interval in the center of a resilient belt body 1 while a lug is formed integrally at the ground face side. Here long and short lugs 5, 6 are arranged alternately in the longitudinal direction where the long lug 5 is formed by extending the side lug 5b from the central lug 5a provided in correspondence to the core metal 2 toward both sides and the adjoining long lugs 5 are inclined in the opposite direction to each other. While the short lugs 6 are arranged in zigzag from the edge of belt to the position corresponding to the core metal 2. Here the pitches P1, P2 are set longer than the pitch P. |
