PURPOSE:To mass-produce titled brackets in stable quality and at low cost, by cutting a long-sized light metal shape formed to a sectional form made by connecting fitting rings having protruded clamping bosses in a body through ribs to desired length. CONSTITUTION:A fitting ring A for steering stem having protruded clamping bosses 1, 2 is provided at the center, and fitting rings B, C for fork pipe having protruded clamping boses 4, 5 are provided on both sides. Rings A, B, C have slits 3, 6, 6 cut in the axial direction. A long-sized light metal shape M is formed by extruding an Al alloy through a die to a sectional form made by connecting fitting rings A, B, C through ribs 7, 8, 9. A screw hole 13 is pierced on a protruded part 10 of the shape M, and fixing bolt clamping holes 11, 12 are pierced on bosses 1, 2, 4, 5 and cut along cutting lines C1-C2 and C6-C7 to manufacture a lower bracket LB and an upper bracket UB. |
