PURPOSE:To prevent a carburettor from being affected by heat from an exhaust pipe, by disposing the carburettor in a space surrounded by the front part of an engine, a down tube and a main pipe so that the space is effectively utilized, and as well by leading the exhaust pipe rearward from the rear surface of an engine cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An intake-air pipe 19 for an engine 18 mounted on a frame 1, is connected at its one end the front surface of an engine cylinder 20, and is led at its the other end into a space 30 surrounded by the front part of an engine 18, a main pipe 3 and a down tube 6. In this arrangement, in the above-mentioned space 30 there is disposed a carburettor 21 to which the other end of the intake air pipe 19 is connected. The upstream end of an intake-air passage in the carburettor 21 is connected to an air-cleaner 22 disposed in a space within a fuel tank 16. Meanwhile, an exhaust pipe 23 is connected at its front end to the rear surface of the engine cylinder 20, and is prolonged at its rear end toward the lower rear part and connected to a muffler 24. Between the exhaust pipe 23 and the fuel tank 26 there is arranged a heat-insulation plate 25 for preventing the fuel tank 16 from being heated by radiant heat from the exhaust pipe 23. |
