PURPOSE:To make the pull side motor small and light and perform stable feeding in a push pull system welding wire feeding device, by controlling the pull side motor at constant speed and controlling generated torque of the push side motor to torque including componet correspoonding to wire feeding speed. CONSTITUTION:Push side and pull side motors 3, 4 send out and pull out a wire by mechanically connected rolls and supply to the torch side. The motor 4 is controlled to set speed of a setting device 7 by a difference signal obtained by comparing output Vr of the feeding speed setting device 7 and output of a speed detector 10, for instance armature voltage Vf of the motor 4, and amplified by an amplifier 9. Output Vr is multiplied by a coefficient (k) by a counter 16, and added to output Tm of a lowest torque setting device 11 by an adder 12, and becomes a torque setting signal Tr. This is compared with output Tf of a torque detector 15 of the motor 3, and difference signal is calculated and becomes a reference signal that drives the motor 3 through an amplifier 14. The coefficient (k) is determined by the length and structure of the conduit 6, shape and quality of the wire etc. |
