<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the production of solid fuel having high calorific value and causing no environmental pollution such as black smoke or ill odor, by bonding a fuel source consisting of industrial waste together with an adhesive for the industrial waste and a solvent for a fuel stock soln. followed by molding into a solid. CONSTITUTION:Solid industrial wastes are separately crushed (1A) and carried to a separate hopper 6A or 6B by a means 2A such as air. The classified, crushed material is withdrawn from the hopper bottom and introduced into a kneader 12, into which an aq. soln. of an adhesive for bonding the industrial wastes to each other at normal temp. is introduced together with a fuel stock soln. also consisting of industrial waste. A solid fuel is obtd. by molding the kneaded material into the shape of a polygonal briquet, etc. followed by curing. The aq. soln. of said adhesive is used pref. in an amt. of at least 10% based on the material to be kneaded which comprises the solid fuel material and the fuel stock soln.</p> |
