The inhalation device is provided with a liquid evaporation part (2), located inside a housing (1), and a mouth attachment piece (3) releasably connected to the housing (1). In order to allow vapour precipitating in the housing interior to reach the evaporation circuit, the evaporation part (2) has a funnel-shaped reception part (5) which widens towards the top and is directed towards the mouth attachment piece (3). The mouth attachment piece (3) provided with an outlet opening (12) is provided on its inner side (4), which is directed towards the reception part (5), with a dripping rib (14) located at a small distance from the inner wall (13) of the housing and extending along this wall. The dripping edge (15) extending along the lower edge of the rib (14) runs inside the upper edge (16) of the funnel-shaped reception part (5) in an upright position of the inhalation device as viewed in the vertical direction.
